Can anyone assist me in adjusting the horizontal scale for my sections. My drawing was created at 1" =50' . Profiled fine. However, when i reset my drawing scale to 1"=5' under the toolspace .... master drawing options...my scale for the sections do not change. Is this the correct way to change the horizontal scale for section in the new Civil 3D ? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance......

The horizontal scale for sections and profiles is the same as the drawing scale. A simple regen and your sections will reflect the new scale. You should see things like text components get much smaller while things like grid spacing and label frequency will remain the same as they're based on drawing units, not scale. (a 5' vertical grid spacing will be 5' no matter what scale)
Also, Civil 3D labels will react to viewport scales so you could have three different viewports, one for a plan at 1"=40', one for a profile at 1"=50' and one sections at 1"=5' and all the labels will take on the scale of that viewport and display appropriately. Model space only has one scale so some of the items will look a mess when you change the scale and view the items in model space, however, they will still look fine in the paper space viewport.
Hope this helps.
