I am working on a building that is 126 meters in height. When I extrude up, the massing disappears when I reach 100 meters. If I type in 99.999999 meters, I'm good to go, but 100 or greater, I'm out of luck.

I'm sure this 100 meters is a default setting, but am not sure where I should go to change it.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

deesee

Acad has alway had a limit of 100000 units extrusion for a single object. I have had to get around this but unioning (is that a real word?) 2 objects.

For further information ( if required ), take a look at the following...

ID: TS1055864 - Extrusions not possible with distances greater than 100,000 (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=7094425&linkID=2475323)

Have a good one, Mike

That's strange. Oh well, after downloading the demo of 2007 and using it for a while, I have to say the 3D stuff has improved, no doubt about it, but it's still not there yet. The rendering is not as easy as Autodesk makes it sound either.

Nevertheless, this is a step forward. I figure by AutoCAD 2010 they'll have the 3D up to today's standard (which will still be behind where others will be by then, but....).
