Best location for saving the mark-up files that are created in the Change Order

We are currently working in a test vault and are soon going to go live with Vault and Product Stream. The question I have is this: Where is the best location for saving the mark-up files that are created in the Change Order? In the same directory as the original file or would it be better if we set up a mark-up directory?

Any help would be appreciated

I prefer a shared folder so that it does not conflict with the original.
