Beam Quantities Schedule

Where do I set the properties of a Beam Quantities Schedule to show only the totals for each beam type mark, and not list every instance of each mark. I have already set it up to show linear feet and cubic yards of concrete.

Schedule Properties -> Sorting/Grouping Tab -> Uncheck the Itemize every instance box found at the bottom of the dialog box.

When I do that all the marks disappear and it just gives me a total cubic foot of concrete for all beams.
I would like to see the total linear feet and cubic yards volumn of beams type B1-1,
total linear feet and cubic yards volumn of beams type B1-2,
total linear feet and cubic yards volumn of beams type B1-3, etc.

Hi Paul,

You may need to set the length and volume fields to calculate totals in the "Formatting" tab.
(and uncheck "itemize every instance")

Let me know if that works.

I found that I needed to go to Schedule Properties "Sorting/Grouping" and set "Sort by" to "Mark" (instead of "none"), then uncheck "itemize every instance". That worked.
