My group is working on a block library project. Each block is a 3D of a machine, when placed into another drawing as a block all the rendering goes away. Right now we are using simple HIDE and so when we insert the block it shows up as a wireframe.
Question: Is there any way to get the block to "transfer" the "hide?" That is, when inserting the block, can it be inserted with the hide instead of wireframe? I hope I'm clear. If not let me know. I am currently running ACAD Mech 2005 on a Win 2000 machine, but my manager has the same question and her machine has Win XP.
