Cannot Purge Linetypes in New Drawing

When opening a new drawing in ACAD Mechanical '07 these linetypes cannot be purged.

ACANSTGB
ACANSTGL
Amconst
Amzigzag2
CENTER
HIDDEN
etc.

Is there a reason for this ? Anybody else have similar problem ?

I liked '06 better!

I use ABS2007 but if ACAD Mechanical is similar, my guess would be there are styles or objects in the program that use these layers and linetypes.

You could spend days or months searching through all of the OOTB content to find where they are being referenced and purge them form the program but IMHO I would just leave them. Autodesk usually has a reason for including content.

layers? or linetypes? I don't have those layers in AutoCAD Mechanical 07, but I do have the linetypes.
