Most HP Designjet plotters come with HPGL drivers designed to work with acad as well as PostScript drivers. Does anyone use the ps drivers? Has anyone tried both to check the pros/cons of each? We've always used the hpgl versions, but now we've started using AutoVue from Cymmetry and they recommend the ps version.

Hi

How about setting up the HP DesignJet plotters, twice on the network...

1. HPGL Driver

2. PostScript Driver

That way you have access to the most acceptable / recommended setup, depending on the software package being used... kind of like best of both worlds.

The above is how the firm I worked for in the UK had their output devices setup - it worked well, as it offered totally flexibility.

Have a good one, Mike

Duh...That makes too much sense. I wonder if IS will do it? :banghead:
