Revit Systems and IES <VE>

Hi All,

Just read summary from AU and there's mentioned that it is possible to link revit model using Revit Systems with IES <VE> for analysis.

I tried to do it myself and can't figure out how to go about it - there's no IES option within file export.


Any ideas anybody - I would appreciate any tips, since I'm using IES on regular basis and it annoys me immensely to have to recreate building geometry each and every time.

From what I saw/heard it is still in development, you may try to contact ies to become a beta tester. It is an external program that goes thru the api. Looks very cool

The IES file name parameter is greyed out in the light fitting family types box but it is there!?
