I dunno why I'm helping you do this......
HPASSOC System Variable
Type: Integer
Saved in: Registry
Initial value: 1
Controls whether hatch patterns and gradient fills are associative.
0 Hatch patterns and gradient fills are not associated with their boundaries
1 Hatch patterns and gradient fills are associated with their boundaries and are updated when the boundaries change

Thank you for assisting.
This is in ver 2002? I see nothing on the help of the online autodesk support about HPASSOC...
it does not exist in my System Variable Editor.

Hi
System variable HPASSOC didn't arrive until AutoCAD 2004.
Give FixHatch from http://www.cadwerx.net/ a try.
Have a good one, Mike
