When plotting a standard 30x42 sheet, my xes 8855 plotter insists on printing on a 36" roll instead of 30". its the same deal with our 24x36 sheets plotting on 30" roll instead of either the 24" or 36". Both instances waste a good bit of paper and time trimming - we pay per square foot of paper used, so it getting expensive. i've tried tweaking the size of the title blocks and using the overrides in the print driver to try to force a plot to come from a certain source (ie roll 1 has 36" paper for D sheets and roll 2 has the 30" paper for the E1 sheets). I've also tried exporting to the DWF format and its even worse when printing from the DWF viewer - plotted 3 blank sheets, then my drawing sheet and it was still on the wrong size paper.
Any ideas on how to get the sheets to print without wasting the paper?
Thanks.

In the DWF Viewer have you tried to set the Scale option to 'Clip Pages'? We had similar problem printing to an Oce. If this doesn't help then it is probably a setting in the Xerox driver or on the Xerox itself.

Had a similar problem with our Xerox 6030. Our dealer had us download the latest driver, which supported a 30 x 42 sheet size...
