Does anyone dimension model entities in paperspace exclusively?

Are there any problems you encounter? If so, how do you work around them?

I have issues with things in paperspace as they relaste to model (not just dims, blocks, etc) As you zoom in and out they shift in relation to one another. Didn't think it was related to AcadM but that's what we're using.

Hey Darren,

It seems there are few Mechanical users out there at times.

I only place dimensions, leaders, and detail and section headings along with the drawing border in paperspace now.

I do not have a day-to-day opportunity to work with the program and appreciate your observations as I am trying to settle on a workable CAD Standard and where to place annotation and dim.'s for plant layout and structural-related drawings.

That is about as close to mechanical (as in machine) design as I can get within my new, mainly AEC world I jumped into recently.

Oh for the days of 1/2-UNC 2B fasteners, A-2 tool steel and four place tolerances!
