View Full Version : Dynamic Block - Chain Actions, adding a flip

I'm constructing a dynamic block that has an action that is chained. This works very well. But, I'd like to put a flip in this block so I can mirror everything at a click. This is where the chained action throws things wacky. Is there a way that I could not chain the action in the Flip? I've already tried removing it from the Flip Action Selection Set but this didn't work either.
Basically I only need an action to chain only with a particular action and not all the actions in the block.

Hi "bweir"
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD 2007 General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=342) forum to this one, as I believe it will be better served here.
Thanks, Mike

Chaining a flip is probably not going to give you the results you want. As far as removing it, if you can't remove it from the selection set then just delete it and make a new flip action. You did select [remove] from the command line after you double-clicked the flip action, right?

I've decided to removed the chained polar stretch. I can achieve what I need by using a leader. Just a little limitation when changing the colour, seams only to take the colour of the layer and not the colour overrides will affect a nested leader.

i would like to know what kind of block it is, and if posting your 'problem version' would be possible.
