Has anyone noticed a huge increase in the time it takes to save files since upgrading to 2007.1? It takes literally 30-60 seconds for the things to save and it's seriously slowing me down. Is there a way to speed it up some?

Are you saving in 2007 format or an older format (2004 etc)? I've noticed a huge slowdown when saving to previous file formats but saving in 2007 seems to be pretty quick.

I guess my answer then is no.

To me all ABS files take a long time to save and I guess I've just gotten used to it but I haven't noticed a significant change in ABS2007.1.

Well i think it´s much faster in it´s performance after switching to 2007 from 2006.

I´ve had some luck with some adjustment in the options dialog box. From the 2006 to the 2007 there is more to the graphic card than i was use to. So look at the adjustment to that account in the dialog box.

If you wan´t me to be more precise, let me know, i have just turned ABS down for the day :o)

2006 to 2007 was great. 2007 to 2007.1 was awful. I'm thinking it has something to do with our network and/or the workstation I'm on though, as they've been messing around with it since about the time we upgraded. Looks like I'll have to just live with it.

Thomas, just a thouht, if you guys are out testing hardware, I'd personally get rid of the dual processor apporach as Acad/ADT can't utilize it. Try the Dual Core types, should come close to doubling performance. Also we've run into stability issues with the 3 gig switch. We just got our first dual core with 2 gigs of Faster Ram. The thing smokes. Just a thought.

Haha, both processors are dual core.
