I have a building that has a 45 deg kink in the middle. It only has a basement on one end. I want to show only that portion of the plan. I created a scope box, and rotated it to cover the area I need to show. When I place it on a sheet it rotates itself so the scope box is no longer rotated and it rotates the view. ie if I do it this way, this sheet will not match the building orientation on the rest of the sheets. In Acad, I'd create a polygonal viewport to accomplish what I need, but I don't see and option for anything like that. Any ideas on a How To?
Thanks in advance.

i would use a callout, although i wish revit would let me create a polygonal callout. seems like you could use a plan region to make the extra framing or whatever disappear in that view, and you can do polygonal plan regions.

i still dont understand what good scope boxes are. what are they used for? i would love to see a worksets scope box(already added this to wishlist) where everything you add in a certain scopebox is automatically put on that workset.

or if youre at your wits end, you can use invisible linework for the things you dont want to see. but this linework tool should come with a warning... sometimes they come back. plan regions are quirky sometimes too...
