Simple ADT Questions

I started working for a company that is outsourcing all their drafting to help them keep from outsourcing and spending so much money. They have several floor plans already drawn and want me to reproduce them on the Architectural Desktop. I have the main footprint of the house done but I have a few questions.
1. I have a coat closetunder my stairs and the back wall of the closet is protruding through my stairs. How do I fix this?
2. How do you make the walls match the roofline if the first floor wall needs to go to a second floor roof?
3. How do you make the stairs appear solid as opposed to wire framed even when it is flat shaded?

You will use the EIP or Edit in Place tools to do both 1 and 2. Select your wall, right click, and choose "Roof Line/Floor Line" -> "Modify" enter "a" for autoproject, and select the object (stairs/roof)

For the wire frame issues, look at your video card adaptive degradation settings
and ensure that you have selected flat shaded with edge display off when you
select the shademode for your view.
