I just finished creating some DB blocks for the everyday symbols we use. The file has 4 blocks:

Combination Keynote, Door tag, Window tag, Matl tag, Rev tag.

Intererior Elevation Block, which thanks to Chris N. I was finally able to make do what I wanted. I expanded on his though in allowing you to hide different combinations with Viz states.

combination Section/Elevation/Detail/ceiling block. (Hint: change colors and linetype to modify the line while using section mark)

North Arrow which rotates and allows you to choos the text that reads the best.
Some of these are simpler than others, but hopefully somebody else will find them useful as well.

Link to Chris N's description of how to do the Interior elevation: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=33494

Thanks again Chris.

I had the other ones (Keynote, Window & Rev Tag) but I found this block interesting because of your symbols for doors and materials. My company already HAS a block for doors and materials, but it's always interesting to see what other people use as standards.

I already have this block and it works for me, so this was a bit redundant for me, anyway. However it's always satisfying to make one of these work, especially when you have struggled to get it to work properly.

Interesting use of the stretch line in your section marker. And your ceiling block was alright too. I liked this one if for nothing more than your section marker.

I liked this one. I wonder if there is a way to only use ONE line of text, though ..... I am sure you've tried, which is probably why it ended up like this.

Interesting variations on what we've already posted. Always good to get different perspectives. And keep posting! The more there are, the better educated we'll all be and the more options there are for everyone to choose from.

I took the liberty of splitting up your blocks (which were all grouped together in ONE drawing) into their own respective drawings in order to make it easier to classify future searches.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
