I would like to export to jpeg images rather than creating an avi along the walk thru path so that i can take the images to an editing software for touch up and water color capabilites. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

It'll be time consuming, but one way would be to put your walkthrough in edit mode, export the first screen as an image (jpg), advance to the next, export again, etc.
There might be avi editing software that'll accomplish this easier.

It'll be time consuming. You are right it will be time consuming, the path is 6800 ft long and 5000 frames, i need some thing that is automatic that will generate the jpeg images similar to the avi function. however thanks for the advice i can use this on some of the smaller projects.

Wow, I actually get to answer one!
You CAN export multiple image files automatically from a walkthrough.
Go to File > Export > AVI and set the file type to JPEG.

I wonder if it works for targa files? I'm going to check.

Credit goes to Kroke, who exposed the method in reference to the Bink and Smacker tools, on Zoog group over a year ago.
I have found to use Bink as my visual tool.
I render to single frames and sometimes play with the fps setting until I get one I like.

Scott: That sounds like a great presentation idea.
Running all the exported jpg's through a batch convert routine in your favourite paint program which applies a water colour filter, and then recompile them back into an avi.

Thank you everyone for all of the help this works very well. I had tried this but it always resorted back to an avi file. I found that a if you just add .JPG after the file name it works fine. once again thanks.
