View Full Version : Structural - Grade Beam, Coulmn Base, Base Plate

This is an exterior grade beam and some base plate sections. I'm not finished with either, but I can truthfully say that the grade beam as is could replace about 300 of our standard foundation blocks minus text, dimensions and reinforcing. The boss doesn't buy it though, says it wastes productivity, so I can't do them at work.

I'm sure you've already thought of thatin its design, but I'll give it a try too and report later (if I remember)

The plate is simple and clear. (the best kind)

The anchor bolts are cool too. I wondered for the longest time how I'd do it and finally decided to drop it. Nice to see someone actually do it.

I like all 3 blocks. If you've got any more stashed away, I'd encourage you to share them ;)
