But the N when rotated is a Z... if I can't modify the whole thing with one click, its really not worth it...

Here is a north arrow I did a while back

I guess this goes back to the question, "When is North not really North?"!!!
That is why I did my north arrow the way I did. Called north is always going to be orthogonal so the called north (along with E, S & W) all rotate in 90 degree increments. But but in my block you can also rotate the inner arrow to point to actual north.

I have the smaller arrow (only set on one of the visibility states) with a separate rotate... so "big" north is always at 90, 180, 270, or 0, and the true north "little" north can be rotated independently... we have two "standard" looking north arrows, not including whether or not a project has a true north specified or not. It is good here, because users here always burst the original block,... :screwy: :banghead:
