Joining Split Columns

Hi,

I have copy/monitored an architectual model and had the 'split columns by level' turned on. That's all fine for the multi-storey columns, but I have a few that only just protrude to the next level. I would like to re-join these before exporting to millenium. Any ideas?

Just a thought, what about the "Join geometry" tool. I don't know if that will work, and I'm guessing you've already tried it. You could try to just adjust the top/bot elevations of the main col and then erase the short ones. I have no idea what that will do to your export model. Or as another thought, you could keep all cols as they are, pick the lowest one and adjust the analytical line and extend it. Then you can turn the short ones into arch cols with no analytical line. Just a thought.

Yep, had tried Join Geometry with no luck. Thanks for your other suggestions, but as the offsets sometimes differ and are often an obscure number, I was just trying to keep away from having to do each like that... but in the end I may have to.
