This is a block that I made a long time ago but we still get good use out of it.

Cool. The displaced bubble option is a neat little twist!

Thanks, the displaced bubble is the reason I posted it. I also have some similar callout blocks that I can post when I get back to my work machine tomorrow.

Hi,

I have a small problem with this dynamic block. When I set diferent grid number from 1, second bubble show 1!?!

Best regards

I was able to tackle that in my section cut dynamic block, using a field in the second bubble with the target being the attribute from the first one. Can't remember right off hand how I did it, but someone else can chime in.

On another note, very cool block, but why does the rotation parameter end up slightly off ortho when you displace the bubble?
Have you noticed how the simple little blocks are the coolest? A grid bubble, who'da thunk it? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/thumbsup3.gif

Here's one with the 2nd bubble linked to the first

Did anyone figure out why the rotation parameter acts funky once you use the "displacement" feature? I'm curious what makes it do that so I don't end up with that problem in the future.

this may help as a starting point for a fix

That's very nice, now all I gotta do is study it and understand what you did different. Do we ever stop working? I stayed up 'till 11:30 last night trying to work on our updated CAD Manual. Seems when I'm at the office, I have to work on CAD files. When they see me typing, they give me more "work" to do. :(

that is why i posted a stripped down version...i believe the diffrence is the move seperated form the stretch that made it work

has anyone found that when you use the displace dynamic option - so useful! - but change the annotative scale, the number ends up outside the bubble? Does anyone have a fix for this?

thanks so much in advance!

Rick, this block is a great. BUt isnt there a problem with the grid line moving when you change scales - assuming one has shifted or jogged the line? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a fix for this?
