Guys,
Not sure how to explain what I am wishing to do though here goes:
I have made some "Dynamic Blocks" using "Visablity States" that hold a complet range of the product. I have done this by making all the individual products as a "Wblock" and then inserted them on a different "Visability State", sounds simple enough.
So I have a "Dynamic Block" called "Ford". I select the block "Ford" and then selct the triangle which gives me a list of all the Ford models. I select the Ford model i am after and bingo, there is the model car i am looking for already drawn as a "Block" and asking me where to insert it. I have made others much more complex though very similar. I simply make multiples of the mentioned above and then insert these blocks into one "Block" on multiple "Visablity States".
From here i insert the "Block" "Cars", select which brand ie: "Ford". Explode the "Block" and then select the model. This way I can have all the cars available as one block and change at the click of a button.
I am wondering how i can do the same using "Lisp" ? Is there a way of pulling the "Visability states" names from the "Block", further is it possible to select the state ?
Isuppose i am liking the idea that i could just type "Cars" (enter) "Ford" (enter) "XR8" (enter) and have one infront of me.
I hope this is clear as to the goal/ intension.
If anyone has any routines that do this or similar that could be easily manipulated ?
I would be greatful should you wish to share it. Any help or suggestions in this assisting with my goal would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Stephen
