I'm trying to create a tap off (conical round to round) in ABS 2007 and was wondering if I could show the top of the fitting in top (plan) view for clarity on fitting type. See first two images for views of the fitting.

The 3rd image is ideally what I would like to fitting to look like.

Thanks in advance for all your guys' help.

Hi seventwo

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the ABS2007 (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=383) General forum to this one, as I believe it will be better served here.

Thanks, Scott Telthorst

If I am understanding your question correctly, I think the best way to do this is by opening the .dwg that is created in your catalog and editing the block for the top view (bedit > Name of block + "Top"). You can then change the appearance of the block to have the arc instead of a straight line.

I am very new at this and have only created a couple mvparts, so I might be misunderstanding your question...

Let me know
