I'm just new to REVIT so please go easy on me!

Here are a few questions:

What formula does REVIT use to size hot and cold pipework?

The Roughness Coefficient for pipework noted in the file PipeSize.xml; what units are these coefficients?

HI,
I think schedule 40 pipe - welded and flanged, wide radius elbows, wyes
*valve families are extreamely important (ball, butterfly, OS&Y, balancing
valves, globes, checks and strainers).
*Gas components like regulators, vents, shut-offs, dirt legs, etc.
*Domestic water - it will be hard to establish a generic library for things
like RPZ's, meters, etc...but it would be worth while to at least model one
or two of a given size to have, at least, something to work from.
*Waste & Vent, floor drains, roof drains, open site drains.I found a site for more detail about all water services at www.jnblabs.com (http://www.jnblabs.com)

We discussed this before, I'm not sure yet how this has been implemented in the new '09 release. Maybe Kyle could fill in.
