Hi,

We have strange text showing up (some rotated at various angles)
all over the electrical equip of our dwf publish hard copies.

What is even stranger is when we went back to the dwg file it looked normal.
We then went to the .dwf file we created it looked fine there too. It only showed
up in the printouts.

All of the drawings that had this rouge text were elevation views placed on a sheet
through the sheet set manager.

Has anyone seen this before?

1. It looks OK in the DWG.
2. It looks OK in the DWF.
3. It looks weird on paper.

The question is, what printer driver are you using to print to paper? Is this a Xerox device? How does it look with Print Preview?

Scott,

Since the dwg files were plotted to dwf6eplot.pc3 I cant do a print preview
on them ...

Actually when we plot in-house to the KIP 6000 they are okay.
The paper copies that came back from our local print shop are
the ones with the problem.

I have attached a pdf as a sample.

Thanks

I've had this problem too. This problem is caused because your print shop does not have the font file you use. You can add the font to the list of fonts to capture in the DWF file, but beware, if the font is copyright protected, it won't get captured. If this is the only place your work gets printed, just send them the font.
