I've noticed that if i do an extruded roof in section, and let it extend some default length into the model, then attach one end to a wall that will result in shortening the roof, If the wall has reveals swept on it, the roof will not be trimmed where it intersects the reveals, resulting in some odd geometry extending off throught the wall and into the rest of the model.
the workaround is to change the wall to a default wall before doing the attachment and then changing it back to the correct type.
