I have to shade out some areas on my drawing what is the best way to do this? I have used dots in the past along with solid gray in color.

If dots or something how do you get the bh scale small enough?

If solid which color gray works the best?

Usually for any shading I use colors 252 - 254. With the pen setting set to grayscale.

Andy, two very subjective questions.
As to the dots, that would depend on plotted scale
and. size of the are you wished to hatch
As to grey, perhaps experimet with various shades
of it to add the depth you desire. So some of it
might be 60% and some could be 80%.
And then the final determinate will be; does it look
good to you.
