When drawing ducts is there a way to specify the 'bottom of duct' height? The 'offset' option in the options bar seems to measure from the centroid of the duct, even when 'bottom' is selected as the parameter for 'vertical justification' under options.

That should be exactly how it works. I just checked it myself. If you have the bottom justification set before you model the duct, the Offset will be the bottom of duct height. If that's not working right, contact our Autodesk Support team.

Even if it's wrong initially, modifying stuff in Revit is quite easy. Don't need the get it exactly right the first time. That's a change in mentality from the AutoCAD world, but a lesson that goes a long way in Revit MEP.
