FEA on MDT

Looking for guidance using the FEA feature on MDT /2007-2008, I got the FEA knowledge but the tool is not as friendly as others I have used, I don't have the other tools anymore since they were from my previous job and I just opened my own company with my wife; any help will be greatly appreciated.
