I'm publishing some more web pages. What had changed from 2004 to 2005? I'm sure there is a setting I'm forgetting to change...The old dwf I make pull up in 3 seconds, the news ones take 3 minutes. Anyone know why?

In the Plot or Page Setup dialog go to the properties for the pc3 your using to create DWF. In the Plotter Configuration Editor go to Custom Properties. Check to see if your dpi is set the same (mines 400). It could also be the Font Handling settings. If its set to Capture all, it can make the file really big.

The new DWF format also supports custom object properties, such as those in ADT. This can affect how fast the file loads too.

I had it set to a low 300 and using 256 (8-bit) colors...no effect... I'm making all these changes in the DWF6 ePlot.pc3 file.

Upgraded to 5.0, that fixed it....
