Importing spreadsheet data into AutoCAD Electrical 2005

Hello,

I was looking at AUGI Training Program ATP172.

Reneta Pfeifer was the instructor.

Reneta, the Training Program was on importing spreadsheet data.

Will this ATP172 work with Auto CAD Electrical 2005? I hope so.

I was wondering if there were any accompanying documentation like excel files?

Could you possibly send any assorted files so that I can try the training.

If you notice when you downloaded the zip file, there was also a link to the class forum.
Inside there is the location for the downloaded class material. Here is a direct link (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=53209).

Now your question on working with AutoCAD Electrical 2005; not sure.
To find out, if you do not see the icon for "Insert Spreadsheet Data to Table", then no, it will not work. I forgot when this command come out. It gets even better in 2008 because there is a bi-directional relationship! Cool stuff!

Each release has made improvements that effect the outcome. And thinking back, I have a hunch that the copy project may be different. Autodesk changed the project format where the two versions would not convert back and forth. Therefore all ECAD 2006 projects will not open in ECAD 2005. Sorry!
