A few phantom lines-that is I don't see them on the screen and can't select them- appear when I plot. Does anyone have an idea how to catch them and erase them? Thanks in advance.

If you can't see them, and you can't select them,
try selecting all the things that you can slect and wblock
them out and see if they go away when you plot.

I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean by wblock them out?

Please search your help file for the WBLOCK command for details.
The basics are the you would select all entities that you could see
and create a new drawing from them, hopefully leaving those lines
you dont want and can't select behind.

Hello.

Do you have all your layers on? Try if you don't, turning all your layers on and then unfreeze and unlock everything. See if you can see them then. If you can , click on it to see what layer it is on, then hit the back button to get all your layers like they were.

And go into your layer manager, and turn that specific layer on that you found , then proceed with deleting it...

Tell me if this works for you.
