I think the biggest limitation I've found in Revit is the lack of automatic joining of elements other than walls. It should be possible to define categories which you wish to apply automatic joining. For example, columns with beams. And columns with walls. And walls with floors (you can do it when you create the walls or the floor, but that's not what I call an automatic intelligent joint). And a large etcetera. I believe it should be customizable, because everybody may wish a different level of automatization for each project.
My current project could benefit a LOT from this kind of automation. I've spent the whole afternoon clicking the "join geometry" tool :lol: Also, the current automatic joining of walls is not perfect. Sometimes they don't clear well, or clear just partially.
