I'm using Civil 3D 2006. I'm creating an intersection...already created a profile for the main road, side road and each of the junction arcs. I created an assembly for each of the roads as well. For some reason, I can't get my junction arcs to project to the actual alignments.

Any ideas?

Did you use a transition in your assembly as opposed to a basic lane? This will allow "stretching" of your assembly to an alignment. Also, make sure in corridor properties, you go to your region and scroll over to "target". Make sure your target is set to the correct alignment for each region. As a side note, i've never used 2006, only 2007 or 2008, so i'm not even sure if these features are there on 2006 or not. Wish i could be more help mate.

I used the transition alignment for all assemblies I created. 2006 does have the option to project to both a horizontal and vertical alignment, which I forced to project their corresponding alignments, but it's still not working. This is the first time I'm creating an intersection...

Any other ideas?

Thanks for the help!

I'm at a loss unless i could directly look at it. Sorry bud. Here are a few links that might help you out a little bit more.

http://www.civil3d.com/index.php/2007/03/intersection-design-made-easy/#more-619

The second one is a design example in which you can download the file and actually take a look at it. If this is of no help, go ahead and post your drawing and i'll see what i can do with it. If you want to, that is.

Hi Stephen,
You have set your targets to the corresponding alignments, Yes?? Not just in the sub-assembly, but also in the Corridor properties?
