our company was sent this software to try out. it's called mc4 suite 2006. it's a program that is fully compatible with autocad and is marketed as being a one stop shop where you can do heating and cooling loads, and design ductwork, piping, and fire protection systems. it uses ashrae's TFM and RTS methods for loads, and the Energy Plus software for energy modeling.
my question is, has anyone used this software? how does it compare with Revit MEP? it looks like you have to create your own content in this mc4 suite. if so, could you import Revit families?
