Hi,

We have a weird problem occuring. We are trying to "Publish" a large amount of drawings to our Xerox 8850 plotter. What happens is as follows: The first plot is correct, the balance of the plots are plotted portrait instead of landscape. We have tried all we can figure, and to no avail. The weird thing is, three stations batch plot Ok, the rest do this "Portrait ****". We have checked all machines and setting are the same, HELP!!!! Our local AutoDesk rep told us to use our windows printer drivers, NOT, that was worse. (Thanks KM)..

have you investigated your Plot nesting timeout period
so that it stops trying to optimize your output for you?
And is the plotter set to software control?

We have two 8830's and One 8850 which we use as check plotters. I have seen this behaviour as well. Typically from the 8850 but don't quote me on that. It appears to be random. We are plotting from AutoCAD 2004, not using Publish but a VBA solution.

Hi

Check out the following Technical Document on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base section -

ID: TS52278 - Plots are rotated 90 degrees and are incomplete (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2892893&linkID=2475323)

Have a good one, Mike
