2005 Map 3D and Raster Design

How can I set up short cuts to run 2005 Map 3D without loading Raster Design 2005. There are some issues with RD and I need the ability to run Vanilla Map. I have tried adding a Map profile. This kept the RD menus hidden but still loaded RD.

The issues are in opening existing drawings with several large (350meg) .tif images. RD seem to prefer .jpg images.

Autodesk knows there are issues with the two image engines, Map and RD.

Open MAP, perfom a menu load operation and UNLOAD
rasterdesign. Then save a profile, and create a desktop icon
that calls that profile with a start-up switch.
