ACAD LT JUST QUITS [Archive]

ABOUT EVER HOUR NEARLY TO THE HOUR, MY ACAD LT JUST QUITS WITH OUT WARNING. AND IF THE DRAIWING IS NOT SAVED THEN I LOSE EVERTHING.

PLEASE HELP

Without further information, that is a very difficult problem to solve. Is it something in particular you are doing. Have you tried reinstalling AutoCAD? I know that seems drastic, but perhaps something wasn't installed correctly. Is there a message, or does it just completely shut down?

Have you installed any new software just before the problem started happening? Have you done a virus scan?

Just some ideas, any further information you provide can only help the matter.

HAVE NOT INSTALLED ANY NEW SOFTWARE. NO HAVE TRIED TO REINSTALL AUTOCAD YET. IT DOES NOT GIVE ME ANY MESSAGES OR ERRORS. IT WILL CLOSE AND QUIT. THEY RECENTLY UPDATED OUR VIRUS PROTECTION TO SYMANTEC 9.0.038.

WINDOWS 2000
DELL WITH P 4 2.0 GHZ
