Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew any links to where I can view archived webcasts for API development. (I know Autodesk has them but was looking for other sources.) Or, just good links explaining the fundamentals of the Revit API. Any guidance would be helpful.

Hi! We actually have a programmer working on the API to develop different routines, etc.
If you send me your info/questions I can check and see if he would be willing to share any other sources of information he has at his disposal.
Best regards,

You can access API webcasts from AU if you are a subscription member. The SDK contains many examples along with the RevitAPI.chm which contains a lot of helpful information. Other than that a good knowledge of .NET either c# or VB.NET is required. What else do you need to know?

This is helpful. I'll look into these. Again, thank you.

Hi. If needed, here's a page that links to the SDK:

Home > Services & Support > Developer Center > Revit Architecture and Revit Structure
