Is there an easy way to do this? When I select the block and go to properties the option is greyed out. when I open the block (block editor) there is no option.
Do I have to recreate them?

Thank you

No, you should not have to recreate all your blocks. When you open the block as an individual file, enter the BEDIT command. When it asks which block select (current drawing). Once you're in the block editor, the properties pallet (DDCHPROP) should have a line item for Annotative. If you can't find it, be very cautious, it's not hard to overlook (I know, I do it too).

By the way, I'm teaching an ATP class which focuses just on Annotative Scale in August. Feel free to join in, just look for ATP206.
