Looking for input re: the following scenario please:
1. Assembly open and checked out of vault
2. Right click->open part (part doesn’t auto check out)
3. Edit part file->normally prompts to check out for most edits
4. Open iProperty Manager in part file-> no prompt
5. Inventor locks up w/o error message (not sure if before or after updates in ipropman)
6. Requires “Ctrl-Alt-Delete” hard end task to overcome-> restart Inventor

I was just told the solution to this post is if you "hit the space bar (following item 5) it unlocks and you can proceed." (ipropman is Access 2003 mdb w/ reqs mandatory meta-data entry before save)
