Why is "Show Hidden Lines" tool greyed out?

Model Graphics Style for my floor plan is set to Hidden View, but I can't access the "Show Hidden Lines tool...any ideas why? Any help is appreciated...

(I have vertical taps off the bottom of my ducts and I need them to be visible.)
