Re-association hatch to boundary

Is there anyway to make a hatch associative to its new boundary after the "hatchsetboundary" command? OOTB it remain non-associative.

Is there anyway to make a hatch associative to its new boundary after the "hatchsetboundary" command? OOTB it remain non-associative.

When you run ._HATCHSETBOUNDARY, and it asks you Erase selected linework?, answer Yes.

Then run the ._HATCHEDIT command, select the hatch, then the dialog will appear. Select the Recreate Boundary button, then choose Polyline, then it will ask you if you want to associate the hatch with the new boundary - answer Yes.
