Profile Line Labels

I've created waterlines in the profile and labeled them (Proposed 16" Water Line @ x.xx%). There is are a couple 45 degree vertical bends, the lines are short and the label is in the way. I've pulled them out to the side but they won' t stay there. Everytime I open they are back parallel to the line again. Isn't there a pin label or something to make them saty put.

You´ll have to create new label style and "release" the condition to align it :


You can copy and rename an existing style by rigth clicking the desired style and then clickign on Edit...
At Label Style Composer Dialog Box in the General Tab -> Behavior-> Orientation Reference, click at Pull Down menu and select View or Word Coordinate System, as You wish. If You select Object it wil oriented with the object.
Then adjust the anchor point at Layout Tab -> General -> Anchor Point.
Finally adjust the text attachment at Layout Tab -> Text -> Attachment.

Don't be affraid to fail with these program, your worst scenario is start all over again.
