MDT6 not working with Mcafee antivirus

Hi !
I have installed MDT6 on XP Pro. My PC has a Mcafee antivirus ver.4.5.1. As suggested by one of my friends I disabled Mcafee while installing. There was no problem with installation. However, now I have to disable Mcafee each time to run MDT6. If I click on MDT6 with Mcafee active, my PC restarts. Can anybody give a solution to this???

I missed to state that already the service pack 1 available for Mcafee 4.5.1 for XP was loaded. Still the system reboots when MDT6 is clicked.

If you are running behind a firewall you may want to disable mcafee while you work. I ran it on xp with no problem. However, using Norton caused my cpu to glitch daily and then one day to just crash.......
