I am a new user with a mechanical contractor looking for the correct forum to post threads. I use a third party cad program called cad- duct. As I continue to build on my current cad skills I want to make sure I am in the best forum for general cad questions.

You mention you use Cad-duct as a third party add-on. What Autodesk software are you using? AutoCAD, AutoCAD Mechanical, or something completely different. The answer to this question will help point you in the right direction

Currently using autocad 2007. 2008 installed put on hold due to the third party updates having too large of an impact if bugs aren't worked out first. So we are giving the other users the opportunity to figure it out on their payroll instead of ours this time.

You will also find other general AutoCAD related forums, including the forum for AutoCAD 2008 in the AUGI Forums - General Design (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50)section

For questions related to add-on software, the Software Forum (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=117)would be best.

You will also find forums for questions relating to general CAD Management, standards, training, etc in the AUGI Forums - CAD Management (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32) section

Hope this helps.
