View Full Version : Can I reference subsets of subsets?

Hi,

I've been playing around a bit with sheet sets, and an setting up a new title block. I'm wondering if I can include hierarchical information?

For example, given the sheet set structure below, I’d like to include the following in the title block: “ELECTRICAL 220 POWER SYSTEM FIRST LEVEL PLAN”. I’ve only been able to figure out how to include “220 POWER SYSTEM FIRST LEVEL PLAN”. I can rename the “220…” subset to “Electrical 220…” etc., but it seems a bit redundant.

PROJECT NAME
--ELECTRICAL
----220 POWER SYSTEM
--------FIRST LEVEL PLAN (SHEET)
--------(OTHER SHEETS)

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Kim M.

Hi
with SSM and 1 drawing of that set open
right-click on the Sheet Set icon at the top of your list
select 'create subset'
also try the 'insert index' from this as well

Thanks for the reply, but I may not have expressed myself well.

I'm looking to insert a field in my title blocks that will reference different levels of the subset automatically. If I've called the first subset "a", and the second subset "b", I want to display "A B" in the field in my title block. (I can figure out how display B, but not A.)

Thanks again,

Kim M.
