Combine DWG TrueView 2008 with Design Review 2008 to make a nice complete package to view dwg, dwf, and images or at least give the same capabilities as Design Review into TrueView.

For instance it would be nice to be able to measure a distance or area in TrueView like you can in Design Review.

How Used : It would benefit any users that don't have Autocad installed and would like to view a DWG and DWF's within one program and have the capabilities to measure distance and area and print.

Autodesk's current position on this:

Autodesk Design Review ... comes with the ability to open a DWG and convert
it to DWF on the fly. You can then take measurements against the DWF.

From a user perspective, the software will act as if you are measuring a
DWG. Autodesk has many formats that need to be measured: DWG, RVT, IPT, etc.
Centralizing the measurement on DWF allows us to provide capabilities for a
wide variety of industries.

Autodesk DWG TrueView views a DWG file and can publish a DWF.
Autodesk Inventor View views IAM, IPT, and IDW files and can publish a DWF.
Autodesk Revit works with RVT files and can publish a DWF.

Rather than have to provide measurement capabilities for all of these
different formats, we have standardized on DWF.

Autodesk Design Review will let you measure distances and areas in a DWF. If
you import a DWG into Autodesk Design Review, it will convert it to DWF on
the fly.
