Hi

Please note I've *moved* this Topic (Thread) from the Operating Systems Win XP Forum (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=111) to this one as I believe it would be better served here.

Thanks, Mike

Hi

Is your AutoCAD installation up to date with regards Service Pack 2 + AutoCAD 2000 Plotting Update Patch -

AutoCAD 2000 Updates & Service Packs (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334435&linkID=2475161#section103)

First install the printer as a Windows System printer (you can then print direct to this device from within AutoCAD if you so wish, but personally I would recommend doing the following so you have greater control from within AutoCAD).

Create an AutoCAD .PC3 Plotter -

Find the "Add-A-Plotter wizard" (should find a copy in the AutoCAD Plotters directory/folder under your AutoCAD installation) -> Add Plotter - Begin (window), you now have a choice to either go with an AutoCAD Heidi Driver or a Windows System Printer Driver, you may want to try both, then decide which one works best for you.

The following Technical Documents on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base should hopefully offer more help/guidance -

Sounds like you don't have a AutoCAD and you need a "DWG viewer".
AutoDesk sells DWG viewers
But there are "Free DWG Viewers" ... go to yahoo.com and type in "Free DWG Viewers".

Then plot from there ..... :-P
