Does anyone know a trick for being able to showing a marker or line in a profile view when you crossing lot lines? I'm doing a lot of pipe line work and would like to show something in my profile to indicated when I'm crossing from one property to the next. Has anyone every done anything like this?

could you just drawing a line at the station of each lot line and then define it in the legand?

I don't think you can automatically. If the parcels and alignment were on the same site they'd split.

It's not super automatic but you could place a block at the intersections and then project that to the profile.

How about adding station equations at the locations along your alignment where they cross a property line. These were intended to be used for altering the stationing but you don't have to make any change to the stationing, just apply them at those locations and make no change to the current stationing. These station equations can then be labeled in a profile data band.

What version are you on? 2011 and 2010 with advantage packs can project line work to profiles and sections.
